The location is fabulous, with a lovely house, great views, a proper hot tub and at least four separate areas where groups can relax. I can see it working really well for a family break with a couple of groups sharing a weekend. You can put up a marquee, but you’ll need to arrange toilets and catering. There’s no staff, so a wedding means providing all of that yourself, as well as thinking about park and ride for guests. I wouldn’t recommend it as a wedding venue for that reason. The parking is tiny, and guests have to compete for spaces at the Trundle car park, which closes at 9pm. Unless it’s a wedding for 15 people, that doesn’t seem great. Weddings are for the guests too, after all. If you have deep pockets and can bring in a manager to organise staff and catering, it could work. Otherwise, I’d choose a venue that includes those things as standard.
