The grounds were impressive, and seeing deer roaming freely was lovely. We had a great two-night break at Heythrop. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff were all really friendly and seemed happy. We used the spa and joined in a few hotel activities. The location is handy for several towns: Dalesford Farm Shop and Stow-On-Wold were both within a 20-minute drive and worth visiting. We’d happily return.

I went for a friend’s birthday weekend and enjoyed every part of our stay. The staff were enthusiastic, the surroundings peaceful, and the community remarkably impressive. Our package included spa treatments, walks and entertainment, which left me feeling revitalised. We also visited Bicester village and Broadway in the Cotswolds. AMAZING❤️❤️❤️❤️👌

We had a wonderful weekend. The place and our room were lovely and clean, with everything we needed. The food was excellent, the staff fantastic, and there was great entertainment and good facilities. Nothing to fault.

The grounds and the drive up to the hotel are beautiful, and the location is good. That’s about all I can praise. The hotel is dirty: our room was filthy, with marks on the wall and dirty cups and glasses. It’s also far too big. The activities were boring, and it felt like a pensioners’ retreat. Getting around such a vast place must be exhausting. We stayed in the south wing, and the pool was a bizarre 15-20 minute walk away, especially in swimming shorts and a towel. For the price, you could get an awesome Air BnB. I won’t be coming back.

Brasserie 32 was a highlight of our lovely four-night break. The food was very good, and the restaurant was beautiful, with lovely views from our table. Our Mansion Suite was spacious and lovely; we felt thoroughly spoiled. We met some lovely people too, and we’ll definitely return.
