The rooms and food were nice, but we found the owner a bit intrusive. When we chose a lie in instead of breakfast, he knocked on our room door. It may just come down to personal preference, as the friend with us really liked him. The service felt a bit too attentive to us. Having to remember to lock the front door was a small annoyance too. Why doesn’t it lock itself when you leave?
