Henllys Estate B&B

Henllys B&B is in a really peaceful spot, with a lovely lake nearby. Our host was welcoming and knew the local area well, and was happy to help with directions and suggestions. Breakfast was delicious, with croissants, blueberry muffins, fruit and toast, plenty to keep us going until a late lunch. The rooms are small, but clean and have what you need, including tea and coffee, a TV, and plenty of toiletries. The toiletries were amazing, even on my overly sensitive skin. And the shower was decent too. We had a lovely short break and would visit again.

We had a warm, friendly welcome and got good advice on restaurants. The walks around the lake and countryside were fabulous, and it's a calm, relaxed place to stay. We could hear some noise from the room below, though. Do visit!

Claire is so helpful, and there's always a warm welcome with tea and cakes. She cooks a superb breakfast and can suggest good local pubs and places to eat. Our room was spotless, and the tea and coffee supplies were well stocked, with plenty of teas, coffees and hot chocolate to choose from. The beds are comfy, and being out in the middle of nowhere means there's no traffic noise. You won't regret staying here. Craig & Teresa

Tamar was such a warm, friendly host and happy to share information about the area. I can't find anything negative to say about my stay. Henllys Bed & Breakfast is about a 7-9 minute drive from Llandovery, in a peaceful spot surrounded by nature. There's no mobile signal, so download your maps for directions and make a note of the Wi-Fi password to get the information you need from booking. I booked a double room, as I usually do, and room 3 was spacious, clean and had plenty of room to relax. The towels felt fresh, and bottled wash products were available in case you'd forgotten your own. I had no trouble with the Wi-Fi. I didn't turn on the TV, but it was there. The room also had a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar and bottled water. If you need milk, just ask in the kitchen. Breakfast is served upstairs from around 8am. There were cereals, fresh fruit, warmed pastries, yoghurt, coffee, tea and juices, with plenty to fuel the day.
