Corinium Hotel & Restaurant

The Roast Beef at Sunday lunch was cooked perfectly, and I was lucky enough to arrive in time for it. I’ve just booked another stay for later in the Summer, as this is my go-to Hotel in Cirencester. I was back a few days ago for 2 nights, in my usual room. The hotel has lots of history, and the staff were fatastic as always. I was travelling solo, and it was lovely that some locals at the hotel bar made me feel welcome. That’s always a good sign. It’s in a quiet part of town with its own parking, yet just 5 minutes walk from the Market Place, right in the heart of Cirencester. Why stay anywhere else? ;-)

Bailey, our Spaniel, was treated so kindly by the hotel and restaurant staff, and so were we. We had a beautiful, clean room and a great breakfast, especially the waffles. It’s a comfy stay, just a short walk from the town center, and we’ll 100% be back in summertime. Shoutout to Alex, who greeted us, checked us in and served us twice with a ever-bright smile :-)

There’s easy parking for patrons, which is much needed, and the bar is nicely stocked with good food, open to the public. The hotel is a little gem in the Cotswolds, right in the centre of Cirencester and just a short walk from the local shops, bars and restaurants.

Breakfast was exceptional, and the restaurant food was excellent too. The 3 courses for £30 felt like astounding value for interesting, well-cooked food that was lovingly presented. I had a lovely stay in this friendly hotel, in a single room that was spotlessly clean. There’s a large car park and a beautiful garden.
