Travelodge Cirencester

We stayed here while decorating at home. The place was comfortable, well equipped and good value, and the staff were happy and smiling.

The hotel is just off a slip road at a roundabout, with a petrol station, supermarket, Greggs and Burger Ming next door for convenience. The hotel’s Breakfast in a Box is dreadful, but Greggs does a sausage, bacon and egg roll in a nice soft bun, and the coffee is very good. Our room was large, with a king size bed and two singles. It had a television, coffee making facilities and USB charging plugs right by the bed, which actually worked for a change. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Reception staff were very helpful, recommending two excellent pubs with great food, and they also have a printed list of about 30 places to eat in Cirencester. We had a very enjoyable two day stay, visiting Cirencester, the excellent Corinium Museum, the Roman Colosseum and nearby Bibury.

Clean, comfortable, inexpensive and conveniently located. When we arrived on the 7th, the lady on duty was helpful, cheerful and a pleasure to meet. I don’t know her name, but she’s a credit to the company.

The room was spacious, spotless and had everything my dad needed. I’d happily stay again and recommend it. A special thank you to IAN for the care and courtesy he showed when my dad became ill during our stay at the travel lodge. He was thoughtful and understanding, and helped us feel at ease.
