We’ve been to three special events at The Red Pump now. The earlier two were the summertime steak nights, and Saturday’s Christmas Cracker (Bottomless Brunch) was every bit as enjoyable. The food was superb, the drinks kept coming, and the entertainment was a brilliant surprise that made the evening feel special. Jonathan and Fran are welcoming, entertaining hosts who clearly love what they do. The Red Pump has a lovely atmosphere and always seems to offer something a little different. Sign up to the newsletter if you want to hear about upcoming events. They’re popular for a reason. Highly recommended.

We found this place for a family wedding nearby and stayed the night. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the friendly welcome made for a lovely stay. We left after a smashing breakfast, having been well looked after.

It felt like a real community pub, with people chatting and laughing together. The owners are a lovely couple, and I got a fantastic first impression. Inside, it’s cosy, with decor and a vibe that suit a classic pub for a pint and a meal. The food was homemade, and the drinks I tried were local. Prices weren’t high, especially for the service. Honestly, this might be my favourite first impression of any pub. I’ve been to at least a few.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and we really enjoyed breakfast. The pub has the added bonus of a super cute dog. Inside, both the pub and our room had beautiful decor, and the staff gave us such a warm welcome. Thanks for having us 😊

That green safety light in the bedroom glowed at night, which bothered me because I like a dark room. Aside from that, we had a lovely stay and I'll be recommending it to others. The service and food were great, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the rooms were clean and lovely, with very comfortable beds. Thank you. I've included a photo of the view from our bedroom window.
