The owners have clearly gone the extra mile with cleaning and disinfecting because of Covid, so we already feel safe and comfortable. The cottage is beautifully clean, gorgeous and well appointed, with everything you'd want for a comfortable visit. It's our first day, and we're already looking forward to the rest of our stay in this lovely part of the Lake District.

The cottage is on a quiet private road, and the new fit-out is to a very high standard. Lesley and I are here for a week starting 31/08/2018, using it as a base for walking the N and NW fells. We're very pleased with it and expect to book again.

Exceeded what I expected, and I'd definitely love to stay here again. Such a lovely place. I'll recommend it to friends and acquaintances. Thank you.
