We arrived late, but the owner was welcoming and understanding. It’s a really nice house, and the room felt homely. The bathroom is shared, with both a bath and shower. The radiator was turned all the way up, but the night was still freezing. Good thing the duvet was thick.

A peaceful stay in a lovely farmhouse-style place. The rooms feel luxurious, and ours had a TV, kettle, tea and coffee facilities, plus Wi-Fi throughout. The atmosphere is warm and homely, and the customer service was excellent. Definitely recommend it.

We had such a restful stay. The location is quiet enough that you can actually hear the birds singing. Beautiful room, tasty breakfast and a brilliant hostess. Absolutely recommend.

A friendly host, a peaceful B&B and rooms with everything you need, plus a few little extras I hadn’t expected. It’s very handy for visiting Colchester. Highly recommended.

The owner was lovely and went above and beyond when I had trouble with my car. Thanks to the local knowledge she shared, I got it running again that same day. Lovely rooms, a lovely area and amazing hospitality from the get go. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
