Dinner was a real bargain, with a varied menu, big portions and food I really enjoyed. I ate there both evenings. The motel is also handy for the M4, Kenfig nature reserve, Margam country park and the beaches at Porthcawl. I was there for just two days for a family funeral. My room was at the back, with private parking for guests. It was spotless, and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The price included breakfast, which feels unusual these days. There was cereal, juice, a full English, plenty of bread and toast, plus tea and coffee, all served piping hot.

The staff were lovely and helpful. We asked for a little extra turkey for our nine-month-old grandson, who was sharing our food, and he demolished it. He loved it! We had the three-course Christmas lunch, and everything was beautiful. I don't eat meat, so I chose the nut roast, the nicest I've ever had. The fish cake starter was lovely too, and the chocolate tort dessert was divine. Excellent value, and I'll definitely be back for more 😁

The food was the best part for me, so tasty, plenty of it, and really cheap. I'll definitely come back if work brings me this way again. The welcome and service were amazing, so friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean, though maybe a little dated. The shower was incredible, really powerful. I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to this time.

We stayed the night as well as having the roast, which was one of the best restaurant roasts we've had. It came out so quickly, and you can get takeaway too. I'd recommend booking. The rooms were clean and tidy, and smelled lovely. Sarah, who helps keep them clean, was wonderful and cheerful, and clearly took pride in her work. Everyone we met was friendly, and there was loads of parking. It seemed old when we first arrived, but turned out to be a hidden gem. We'll definitely come again.

Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, tasty and well prepared, with generous portions. Everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming, from check-in through to the restaurant. I paid just £65 for my stay and was genuinely impressed with the value. The shower pressure was perfect, which is rare, and the hotel is well placed for getting to some stunning beaches. I'd absolutely stay again. A great find!
