The drawing room, with its real fire, made everything feel especially homely, and our room was very comfortable, with complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked to order, and the portions were generous. Lucy and her children were warm, friendly hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. We’ve stayed at other B&Bs in the area, but this one was far better than those. A lovely setting, outstanding service, and a real home from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We happened to be there during a major storm that left all the local villages without electricity for over 24 hours. Lucy brought out lanterns and candles and carried on, even turning out a full cooked breakfast on the Aga. We’ll definitely return. Lucy is such a welcoming, friendly person. She’s happy to help without being pushy, and her two lovely children were a pleasure to chat with after school. We couldn’t have asked for more.

The breakfast was amazing, and our lovely room had all sorts of thoughtful extras. We felt completely at ease during our stay. Lucy was attentive and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. One of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely be back, thanks Lucy.

The house has gorgeous views and feels so welcoming and homely. Lucy and her delightful children were incredibly warm and kind, and their hospitality couldn’t be faulted. I had the pleasure of staying at Crookham Eastfield Farmhouse recently. If you want a weekend away from it all, this is the place.

A great base for exploring the area and Holy Island. Lucy paid amazing attention to detail and was happy to help with anything. We felt at home as soon as we arrived.
