Hood Lane Farm B&B

We had a lovely peaceful time and would love to come back. I came with my boyfriend for his birthday, and the pod was cozy, surrounded by lots of nature. It was much more spacious than it looked in the photos, with a very comfortable bed and everything very clean. The hosts kindly left us a small treat for the birthday.

Everything was there on arrival, and the venue was clean, well presented, and equipped with what you could wish for. We loved the quiet surroundings and countryside views. It was easy to find using the information supplied and a sat nav. We had a great overnight stay and will come back for longer. The venue, views, and hosts’ hospitality were faultless, and the cost was good, worth every penny ❤️.

Breakfast was beautifully laid out and tasted delicious, and Lindsay and David made us feel completely at home. Their thoughtful touches and generous kindness made the stay even nicer. The pod is lovely, set in peaceful, picturesque surroundings, and their friendly dog Charlie was a bonus. This was our second visit, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend it!

Dave and Lyndsay were incredibly welcoming, and their spaniel Charlie was a happy, friendly old boy who was completely relaxed around visiting dogs. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Just watch out for the low beams if you’re tall, since it’s an older house. Both breakfasts were lovely, though my wife and I had different favourites for the poached eggs. The house itself is beautifully and sensitively furnished, and the setting is gorgeous. We came with our dog Bailey for Crufts in 2023. He was nervous about the wooden stairs, so after 8pm Dave went out to his workshop, found some underlay, cut it up and covered the risers so Bailey could get upstairs safely. By breakfast the next morning, proper pieces of carpet had been fitted there, which worked perfectly for all of us. That kind of care and willingness to help was beyond anything I’ve experienced. It felt like a real home from home. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
