Radisson RED London Gatwick Airport

You need a public bus or the hotel shuttle, which costs £5, to get here from the airport if you aren't driving. There's not much nearby, but the hotel has good food options and service until a reasonable hour. Breakfast was good, with a full English available. The service was fantastic, and self check-in is available. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and a good size. Our window wouldn't open, but the air conditioning worked well. A good stay and excellent value.

We even got out for countryside walks nearby, and the £5 airport shuttle was handy. The staff were lovely and welcoming, the rooms quiet and comfortable, and the lobby and bar made a nice place to spend the evening. Food was decent and well priced. Really recommend it.

The food was a real highlight for me: the wings, soup of the day, and Cajun chicken were all delicious. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff were warm and friendly. The hotel feels modern and well looked after, with clean rooms that have enough space and a powerful shower. The small gym downstairs is fine for an overnight stop. The narrow corridors do let sound travel, though, and the industrial estate location doesn't offer much nearby. Still, it works well for a night while travelling through LGW.

That was the quietest room we've ever had, and the bed was the most comfortable too. The sound insulation was superb. We stayed one night ahead of an early flight, and the clean room, friendly staff, and good-sized restaurant portions at reasonable prices made it a great choice. In January, the air conditioning made the room quite cold and I couldn't turn it off myself, but the receptionist helped. The shuttle ran less often than we'd expected, so we had to get a taxi. Highly recommended 👌
