We’ll certainly use this B&B again. It’s very handy for the airport if you have an early flight, with a good-sized room, an en-suite shower and toilet, and free parking outside. A hairdryer would have been useful. There are two pubs nearby with a good choice of evening meals.

We walked five minutes to Pastors Pig for dinner, and it was great. After taking the bus from the airport and walking to the guesthouse, we enjoyed a very nice breakfast in the garden before our flight. The host was friendly and helpful. It was much nicer than staying in a big, impersonal hotel.

The room was clean and large, and the heating was on when we arrived, so it felt cosy and comfortable. The place is quiet and beautiful, and the hosts are lovely and eager to help. We checked in late, at 22h, when all the nearby pubs and restaurants were closed. The host gave us fruit from her own fridge and bought us some snacks. She even called a cab because our cellphone had no signal. We’d like to come back and have breakfast next time. Our flight was so early that we had to break our fast at Gatwick.

I don’t understand how this place has good reviews. The outside lights were flickering or broken as soon as we arrived, and the hallway lights flickered too. The first room stank of damp and sewage. In the second, a lightbulb was broken, there was damage everywhere, the decor was disgusting, and the bed was very loose and wobbly. It felt like a horror movie. I added a picture.
