The hot tub was the highlight for us, and it was fully heated in about an hour. We had a lovely stay at Bluebell Retreat yesterday. Shanna was friendly and quick to reply, and the hut was beautiful. Highly recommend Shanna and Bluebell hut. We'll definitely return ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We spent four nights and five days camping here and found it through the park4night app. The lake is beautiful and full of wildlife, from ducks and frogs to dragonflies. Even with horses and goats around, the site is wonderfully peaceful. Garry and his wife were brilliant hosts and went out of their way to help us enjoy the stay. Local amenities are about ten minutes away by car. Down the road there's a cider farm with something on every day, as well as sunflower fields where you can pick your own for around £5. It was great value for money, and we didn't want to leave. We hope to come back next year. Thanks for a great time, Garry and family. See you then, from Kenny and Lynne.

Kingfisher lodge was easy to find and had all the things we needed, including towels, robes, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. We stayed for a long weekend with my partner, stepdaughter and dog. The place was clean, and we appreciated having an enclosed garden for the dog, though dogs need to be on leads around the farm. It was lovely and quiet, with a proper rural feel. We walked to the farm shop down the road to pick apples and have lunch, and fed the goats and horses. My stepdaughter enjoyed the lay z spa, but found the chemicals a bit harsh, so shower well afterwards. It might not suit sensitive skin.

We needed somewhere quiet, and Kingfisher lodge was just right. The hot tub was a perfect size for two, and Tucker, their dog, came to visit us a few times. We're big dog lovers, so that was lovely. There was a mix-up with the dates on their end, but they gave us a full refund and were such nice people to talk to. We had a lovely break and would definitely recommend staying.

We had a fabulous three-night stay in Bluebell Lodge. It was clean and nicely presented when we arrived, and Gary explained how to use the hot tub and helped with suggestions for local dining and shops. If you're after a quiet, quirky, romantic hideaway in Somerset, you'd be hard pushed to find somewhere better.
