The peace and comfort made this my best night's sleep on the whole West Highland Way. I couldn't hear the other guests at all, and it was wonderfully quiet and cosy. Rod kindly picked me up at the end of the day and took me back in the morning, making everything easy and stress-free. He and Andrea were warm, welcoming, and felt like genuine people. Communication was clear and reassuring, and my room was spotless and inviting. I loved watching the birds fluttering outside the window. Everything felt relaxed and well cared for. I couldn't have asked for more.

We stopped for a night while hiking the West Highland Way, and the hosts made sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. The rooms were lovely and clean, with a style that felt just right for a Scottish guest house. We felt at home, and the freshly made breakfast was delicious. We'd happily return.

After 33 km of walking, most of it in cold rain, we arrived exhausted and drenched. Rod and Andrea greeted us with warm smiles, offered to dry our shoes and wash our clothes, and made sure we had something to eat. The clean, cosy room gave us our first proper night's sleep since the trail began. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious, and the hosts were kind, friendly, and gave us useful advice for the rest of the West Highland Way. We wished we could have stayed longer. We also got to pet their labrador dogs Zack and Harry. 10/10.

Our original place was overbooked, so we wound up here, and we were so lucky it worked out that way. Rod and Andrea have moved up north and made a cosy haven right in the heart of the West Highland Way. The house is charming, and breakfast came with Rod's smiles and tips, plus an OG documentary on the WHW. We hope to come back and walk these dogs, or maybe let them walk us! Thanks for such a lovely stay. 🌈

Rod and Andrea welcomed us with big smiles and were incredibly kind. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and breakfast was fantastic. What a wonderful stay. I'd recommend it 100%. 🥰
