The staff made our stay especially enjoyable. Everyone was warm, friendly and happy to chat, and it was easy to see why some guests return regularly. We’d gladly come back too. We spent three nights here. Our room was spotless, spacious and well equipped, with a comfortable bed, fluffy towels and heating we could adjust ourselves. The hotel is right by the beach and just a few minutes from town. We had dinner once and ate breakfast here each morning. The food was consistently good, with a varied dinner menu and generous servings. Breakfast also offered plenty of choice, from cereal and continental options to a full cooked meal.

We’ve been visiting Criccieth for a few years but only tried the restaurant tonight. Glad we finally did. My lamb rump was tender and delicious, and the waitresses were welcoming, friendly and attentive. We’d definitely recommend eating here.

We loved our two nights in the executive room, especially the outstanding views. It was a mini heatwave while we were there, so we could enjoy a glass or two of vino in the garden overlooking the bay. The hotel is well maintained and nicely decorated, and the staff were professional, helpful and very friendly. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding too. We wished we could have stayed longer and will certainly be back.

The food is superb, and we had another lovely visit to this hotel. Gwyn deserves a special mention. He’s an excellent barman, always getting things done, and a real credit to the hotel and the industry. We enjoyed his company so much.

The sea and castle views were excellent, and the location was just right for our short break. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we thought the food was amazing. We’d highly recommend it.
