Comrie Croft Eco Hostel Camping

We stayed on the low meadow at Comrie croft and had a fantastic time. The staff and nearby facilities were good, the cafe was excellent, and the shop was great. My daughter LOVED spotting the slow worm. My husband hired a bike from the shop, and the team were really helpful and flexible, including with our Pokemon-loving daughter. We'll be back!

I've stayed on the campervan pitches at Comrie Croft a few times, and it's always great. The facilities are good for the very reasonable price, and I love that fires are allowed. My one gripe is that you can't reserve a particular pitch, so a group of friends might not end up parked together. It's not a huge area, so it wouldn't be a major problem, and putting up a booked sign wouldn't be difficult. I emailed ahead to ask, but they still said no, which is a shame.

We had our wedding at Comrie Croft on May 4th and had an incredible time. From booking just under a year ahead, Ellen and the team were amazing. Ellen, Rozy and Frankie replied quickly to my many questions and were always welcoming when we brought our families to visit the campsite beforehand. The week before the wedding, Ellen talked us through the day and had great suggestions for making the setup reflect us. On the day, she kept everything running smoothly, made it stress free, and helped make it fun. The other Crofters were fantastic and made us feel part of the Community. Sandra helped make sure we didn't leave too much of a mess, and Amanda calmly handled my last-minute realization that I'd printed the table plans incorrectly. Our guests had a great stay in the steading and some of the katas, and we absolutely loved the new cabin. We would have stayed there for a week afterward if it hadn't already been booked. Highly recommend a getaway there. It's one of Scotland's most beautiful venues, with a wonderful community, whether you're planning a wedding or visiting for a weekend.

A great place for family camping and biking, with tracks for every ability, from age five upwards. The cafe, shop and bike shop had everything we'd forgotten to bring. We'll be back!
