The cottage has a smart layout and spacious rooms, and it’s both child and pet friendly, with a feeding chair provided. It sits near the river, with a large front garden and another at the back. There are plenty of local shops nearby, though I heard most are open only Wednesday to Saturday. The only downside for me was the creaky floor. It was loud, disturbed the others and was unpleasant overall. Apart from that, a lovely place to stay.

The house had everything we needed, and the setting was nice. It’s close to the village centre but still peaceful. Comfortable, lovely accommodation. I’d recommend it and would stay again.

A relaxing country town with the river flowing by and lovely clean air to enjoy. There are a few little shops right on the doorstep, and it’s a beautiful spot to explore.
