The dining room was lovely, and the food served there was excellent. The building itself is a beautiful stone structure, and parking was excellent too. My wife and I stayed in May 2025 and felt welcome throughout our break. The owner made sure nothing was too much trouble. We wholeheartedly recommend it, and thank you.

I wish I'd had more time to relax at Merlindale and take in the Perthshire countryside. Every guest has a parking space, and breakfast was included in my rate, cooked perfectly and served with care in the well-proportioned ground-floor dining room. My huge, elegant private showroom was across the hall, with soft towels and lots of lovely touches. I stayed in the Thistle room on the first floor. It was fabulous, with high ceilings, original sash windows, wooden shutters, a huge bed and luxury linens. There was a great TV, useful amenities and decent WiFi. Merlindale in Crieff is a stunning property, restored with real sensitivity and finished to a very high standard. It's contemporary and thoughtful, with loads of art and detail. Geoff & Amanda, the new owners and hosts, gave me a warm, friendly welcome. I'll definitely return and share this gem with our Selkie clients.

We were in Crieff for a wedding and couldn't have picked a nicer place or nicer owners. The new owners gave us superb hospitality and the whole place had a fantastic vibe. The Scottish breakfast is especially worth recommending. Honestly, Merlindale is a great place to stay.

We've stayed at our favourite B&B in Crieff, Merlindale, many times, and just came back from another lovely few days there. This visit we met the new owners, Amanda and Geoff. They've only been there a short time but are doing a fab job, making little changes bit by bit. We're looking forward to seeing what's been done by our next visit. The breakfasts are beautiful and we had a lovely time.

We spent three nights in the Orchid room, which was beautiful. Homemade shortbread and single malt whisky were a lovely touch, and we've never had such wonderful breakfasts, from Helen's homemade yoghurt and granola to the fantastic Scottish breakfasts. Paul & Helen greeted us like old friends from the moment we arrived. The care they put into every detail of the hotel, and the way they treated each guest, was exceptional. We really hope we can see you again soon. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
