Premier Inn Darlington East - Morton Park

I only came in for breakfast, not an overnight stay. For £10.99, the cooked breakfast is unlimited, which I think is great value. There’s sausage, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, beans, black pudding, fried tomatoes and hash browns. The deal also includes the continental spread, though I skipped it apart from a pain au Chocolat. Tea, coffee, orange, apple and cranberry juice are included too.

Breakfast was tasty and they kept everything topped up. The hotel was easy to find, and its spot worked really well for getting into town and to the nearby shops. Our room was clean, the staff were friendly and the service was good. I enjoyed the stay and plan to use it on future visits.

I've been staying here for the past couple of months. I wasn't very pleased with the room I was given this time, but Tracey made check-in so easy and was genuinely helpful. I really appreciate how smoothly she handled it. She's a great example of what good service should be, and she's the reason I'm giving five stars.

We booked at the last minute because a family member had to stay overnight in hospital. Ant at reception went out of his way to help us, which we really appreciated. The location was just what we needed, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Having a bar/restaurant next door was handy too.
