The Beaumonts

We stayed with friends for a wedding, and the property and rooms were just as described. I’d absolutely recommend booking here 😊

The flat got very hot and had poor ventilation. We were there in summer, staying in a two-room flat, but could find only one electric fan. The main entrance wasn’t very clean either. Booking.com said toiletries would be provided, but there was only handwash and nothing for the shower. We were also told the door PIN would arrive 24 hours before check-in, but the message came on the morning we checked in. The PIN for the main entrance was the same as the one for our apartment, which made us wonder whether other tenants could get into our place. We had to pay a £100 damage deposit and were told it would be refunded after checkout. As first-time customers in a place we didn’t know, we really weren’t comfortable with that.

I’ve stayed four times and it’s an amazing place. The £100 damage deposit they now ask for is my one gripe. It takes a while to come back, and it doesn’t sit well with me. I’m responsible and respectable, and this could put me off staying again, especially with tight budgets. I do understand if they’re dealing with lots of breakages, though. Please look into it.

We had 10 of us in Apartment 14, adults and kids, and there was plenty of room and everything we needed. Parking was available, with a time limit, but that worked fine for us. The place was clean and well equipped. I’d stay again if I’m in the area.
