Breakfast was easy and just what I needed, and my room felt cosy and comfortable while still being clean and nicely presented. I was visiting the area on my own and had the pleasure of staying at Hill View House. Johnathan was lovely, helpful, and accommodating, always willing to go the extra mile. He knew the area well and gave me great suggestions for restaurants, hikes, and activities. I'd happily recommend this B&B.

Dartmouth was an easy seven-minute walk away, and the B&B was simple to find. Jonathan was very helpful and accommodating, a great host. There was plenty to choose from at the continental breakfast, and it was great. I'd highly recommend staying here when visiting Dartmouth, five stars.

The continental breakfast was generous and tasty, and the rooms have a quirky, stylish feel. Jonathan was a really friendly and accommodating host. I'd stay again.

The only downside is parking. There's very little space on the road, and the drive behind the building is tiny. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a huge modern bathroom. It's close to Dartmouth harbour, and at the price per person per night, it feels like a steal. Other local hotels charge much more and aren't nearly as good. Jonathan is very friendly and seems genuinely keen to help however he can.

We were only there for one night to attend our son's passing out parade at Britannia Royal Naval College, but Jonathan did everything he could to make our short stay as good as possible. The house is well placed for getting around, and breakfast was superb. Our rooms were tastefully furnished and decorated, and very quiet at night. We'd definitely stay again if we return to Dartmouth.
