The entertainment was thoughtfully done, and the team made it feel like a memorable experience. I even told one of them, "You guys make childhood memories." The site has plenty to do, including an arcade, a diner where the entertainment takes place, and playgrounds. If I remember right, there's a tennis area too. The Warren is only a short walk away, with a few shops, a small GoKart track, the BoatHouse and a big arcade. My boyfriend spent childhood holidays at the Welcome Family Holiday Park with his family because it had been one of his parents' childhood places. He loved going to the Warren, and they returned year after year. Last year he took me there, and we stayed in the most expensive Caravan at the Welcome. The staff member at reception was kind and welcomed us to the site. Our caravan was clean and tidy. We were greeted with complimentary hot chocolate and coffee, as well as a bottle of champagne, which was a nice touch. Thanks for all the memories.

The pools were lovely and clean, and the changing facilities were nice. Our smaller chalet was lovely and clean, and plenty big enough for the two of us. The bar in the main clubhouse was well stocked and very reasonably priced, and the staff were always polite. We'd been a little disappointed with our previous stay elsewhere, so my wife and I came to have a look at what this park offered. We arrived early and asked if we could park up. The receptionist checked whether our accommodation was ready, and it was, so we could go straight to it. A big shout-out to Mark and the rest of the entertainment staff. They'd clearly had a long season, but still put on a good time for the guests who were there. On Tuesday, after the main show, those of us staying for a couple of drinks were invited to an impromptu singalong with jokes. It was bloody great. The park has loads to offer, and I can't recommend it highly enough. We'll definitely be back, hopefully with more of our family. Well done to everyone who runs and works at the park.

Jazzy, Kelly-Ann and Jon were fantastic entertainers, though Kieran and Mark came across as strange because of comments they made during bingo. I can't remember the date, but the singalong rescued my stay. Everyone joined in with songs like YMCA and Sweet Caroline, which was brilliant. There was also a children's talent show on another day, followed by an adult one. One woman sang so beautifully it gave me goosebumps. She was so good, I wouldn't be surprised if she became an entertainer at this holiday park in the future. The staff member who welcomed us on the first day was lovely. She had brown hair in a bun and unexpectedly helped carry our things to the caravan. My main problem was the security guard. I don't know his name, but he was over 6ft 2inch tall and white. He wagged his fingers in my face, then searched my bag another day. He told me I couldn't bring drinks inside, although on previous days people were clearly bringing outside drinks into the restaurant and drinking them without security speaking to them. The wifi was extremely temperamental, and I ended up getting a refund for the wifi I bought. There were no problems getting the refund. I don't like to slate places, and this wasn't the worst place to stay, but I didn't really enjoy this caravan park and wouldn't personally recommend it.

We've stayed in these units for years, and the owner is always accommodating. The unit was very spacious and clean, and everything is included in your stay to help you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble.

We went down to join my parents for the few days they'd booked. It's close to the train station, and the pool was really nice. They even put the rugby on for us. We had a lovely time and would go back.
