Mary made us feel at ease straight away, and we were welcomed with tea and homemade cake. Our room had a beamed ceiling and all sorts of books and quirky things, which made it lovely in a way that’s hard to describe. It was quiet at night, so we slept well. Evening meals are sometimes available, but not on the night we stayed. Mary pointed us to a lovely place about a 10 minute drive away, with superb fish dishes. Breakfast was brilliant: ordered the night before for our chosen time, with fruit salad, juice, a full English, toast and coffee, all cooked perfectly. We didn’t need lunch. If we’re travelling that way again, we know where we’ll stay. Highly recommended.

Mary and Tim were perfect hosts, and we really hope to come back soon. The building and rooms are beautiful, the rooms are pristine and tastefully decorated, and breakfast was delicious.

Mobile signal isn’t available, but we found that a blessing in disguise since the place is all about a peaceful holiday. Breakfast was fabulous, and Mary and Tim were attentive hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Ask them for local ideas and you’ll be overwhelmed with options. It’s an ideal base for North Norfolk’s villages and wildlife. Birds of all kinds are everywhere, and the seaside is about a half-hour drive away, with several places to choose from.

Mary greeted us with tea and homemade cake, which was such a nice touch and made us feel at home straight away. She was warm and thoughtful throughout, always doing what she could to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodation is a beautiful converted 17th century barn, with a great breakfast selection to set you up for the day. We’d happily recommend it and are looking forward to staying next year. Thanks, Mary and Tim.

We’ve been twice this year and are coming back in August. It’s lovely and quiet, the garden is a credit to Mary, and both the breakfast and evening meal were really good. Mary is a great host. Highly recommend White House Farm!
