Su and Paul made us feel so welcome, and were happy to help with anything. Su's dinners were a real highlight, too. It was such a lovely stay that we really didn't want to leave. I can't say enough about how amazing it was.

The setting was wonderfully quiet, with three lakes to wander around, ducks, hens and geese, and even a heron passing through. I'm not a fishing person, but I loved the walks. Our chalet-style room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, a strong shower and a window looking out onto one of the lakes.

A lovely place for a walk around the three fishing ponds, and the owners were friendly and helpful throughout. I stayed for three nights and loved it. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and both dinner and breakfast were great. We'll definitely be back soon.

Breakfast was a real treat, especially the fresh-tasting orange juice and those sausages that practically melted in my mouth. You could choose what to have, and the eggs were good too. The rooms were just the right size, really clean, and had such a fun touch: each bed had an animal embroidered on its pillow. Ours were a peacock and a tiger. One of the owners showed us around when we arrived and explained the breakfast hours. It was such a relaxing trip, and I can't recommend the place enough. Already looking forward to coming back.

We could come and go on our own schedule, which suited us well. We were there for one night for a family wedding, with our adult sons, a girlfriend/friend and my elderly mum, and it worked for all of us. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had plenty of choice. Our room looked out over the water, where we saw a duck with ducklings and geese with goslings. We even spotted a deer running past the window. The rooms were lovely and generous, with good quality facilities and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits.
