Angel House Bed & Breakfast

The breakfast was good, and the staff on site were nice. The manager, though, was rude and unhelpful when we called about what had happened, and nothing was done. We had booked Serendipity hotel months ahead, but on arrival day got an email sending us to Angels House 3star hotel across the street, with no explanation. We entered our Serendipity hotel room using the code from the earlier email and found someone else's things there. Only then were we told we'd been moved to another room. It was significantly worse, yet we were charged for the original Deluxe Room, which online had been around 50£ more. There was only cold water in the shower throughout the stay, and some mold in there too. Not worth it, since they won't solve things when there's a problem.

The place was clean, warm and comfortable, and just what I needed. Town centre was a 15 min walk away. I'll definitely stay again!

Getting to breakfast meant walking to a different property, and the cooked option cost extra despite there being very few choices. The shower was dirty and covered in mould, and the TV didn't work properly. Thankfully, we were only there for 2 nights. The property would be very unsuitable for anyone who isn't physically fit. Breakfast choices, where you eat and access may be a problem for older guests, though they weren't issues for us.

WARNING, beware. I used fake tan and was charged £60 from my bank account by angel b and b for stained towels, with no notice. Disgraceful. 0 out of 5.
