The snug bar is a lovely spot for a few drinks after a meal, and the restaurant itself feels spacious and welcoming. We come here regularly for food and have held several events here over the past few years. The food is excellent, and the staff always look after us so well. The waiting team are especially friendly and eager to help, particularly Daryl, Ravi and Martin. This is our usual choice for meals out and events.

Martin at The Snug really stood out. His knowledge of the area, skill behind the bar and friendly manner are a real credit to the hotel, and I hope they give him a raise or promotion. We had a great two-night stay at the Waterfoot Hotel, with a handy location just beyond the bustle of Derry city centre. I'd definitely recommend it.

The food was great and the restaurant service was very good, but the gents' toilet was disgusting. It'll be a while before we come back.

The staff were so kind and helpful throughout my stay at the waterfoot hotel. I was in town to attend the north west cancer centre, and they made sure my taxis to and from the hospital were on time. They couldn't have done more for me. It's one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, and I'll recommend the waterfoot hotel to my friends and family.

Everyone on staff was helpful, and I hope to stay again. Kristen welcomed us at reception and shared useful local advice about places to eat, which made the visit much easier. I'm very grateful to her.
