The apartment was spacious and clean, with decent Wi-Fi and easy, free parking. It's a 10-15-minute walk into the city centre, including a nice riverside stretch along the Foyle. Still, after four nights, I wished we'd checked reviews on other sites first. We might have chosen differently. The self-catering setup was poorly equipped. Traffic noise from below was distracting even from the top floor, and the double glazing barely helped. The bedroom blinds were old, stiff, and didn't work very well. It's promoted as luxury accommodation with self-catering facilities of the highest standards, but I don't think that description fits.

The penthouses could use a better stock of cooking gear. Bring your own soap, toilet roll, salt, pepper, and dishwasher tablets if you're staying. The balcony view was lovely, especially after dark. There are quite a few restaurants and takeaways nearby, and town and the shopping centre are about a 5-10-minute walk away.

I've stayed here three or four times now. The rooms feel like home and are great, and there's free Wi-Fi. It's an easy walk to the town centre, with a local shop close by. The place could be cleaner, though, and the windows badly need upgrading.

A great apartment, clean, modern, and close to everything you need. The owner is really friendly, too. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

For a weekend away, this place was just right. It has a good shower and plenty of space, and it's in a great spot facing the Carraig Bar. Taxis are quick and easy to get if you need one.
