The contactless setup was handy. After checking in online, you get the details for entering the building and your room before you arrive. It's a simple, no-frills hotel and decent for the price. The room was clean, and with the window open it was okay despite having no AC. The pillows were a surprisingly comfortable and supportive. Saturday night was noisy, though, since it's right in the middle of town. We had a shower problem and couldn't get anyone on the phone after several tries. Someone only came to look once we texted and emailed. A quick phone response would have been better. There was a kettle and tea, but no hair dryer. Street parking downstairs doesn't allow overnight stays. There's an open lot very close by, although it gets busy and finding a space can be difficult.

The beds were so comfortable, and the room was roomy and really clean. It's in a great spot, within walking distance of bars and places to eat. We booked two rooms but needed to cancel one, and Maggie was very helpful when I called. She emailed me a list of car parks too. Weekend parking gets busy, and the Christmas celebrations made it busier still. We'd definitely come back. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I liked the contactless check-in. After a long journey, I didn't want to stand around repeating details I'd already given when I booked. Maggie and the team were amazing, and the clean room was good. Everything we needed in the city was close by.

It's in a great area and the room is a good size, but the sheets don't stay on the bed and keep slipping off. There's nobody around to ask for anything.

The rooms were nice and clean, but it was noisy all night, with loud cars racing down the road and drunks yelling. There were also drug users and drunk people wandering the sidewalks all evening. At first I didn't feel safe, though after passing by several times without trouble, they didn't seem to bother me. It still felt uneasy.
