Joyce made us feel welcome when we arrived Friday night, and she was happy to help with anything. We were there for a local wedding and spent two very comfortable nights at The Garth. The room and its furnishings felt five star, and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked both mornings, tasty, and plentiful. We’d happily stay again and recommend the place. Thank you, Joyce.

We stayed for nine days and got to try the whole breakfast selection, then go back to our favourites. The breakfasts were amazing, and Joyce was flexible about what guests needed, always with a can-do attitude and a lovely smile. Our gorgeous room was beautifully furnished, with a large, very comfortable king-size bed. The en-suite was great, and having a fridge and coffee machine was a welcome extra. This B&B is a gem, a perfect spot to relax, and Joyce is kind and hospitable. Her high standards have earned her awards and recognition. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Joyce. ❤️

There are lots of walking trails from the house, and Joyce was glad to answer questions and offer good recommendations. The accommodation was lovely and extremely clean, with an amazing choice at breakfast. We had a great stay at Y Garth and would recommend it. Thank you!

The room was clean, comfortable, and had its own en suite with everything we needed, including a mini fridge with milk, a kettle, tea, a hair dryer, and shower gel. We also had on-site parking and enjoyed the breakfast. The host is a really nice lady who couldn't do enough for us, bless her. We had a lovely stay. For a B&B, we thought it was very good, even if it had a few flaws. Thank you 😊

The location is lovely and quiet, and there were some nice cakes and biscuits waiting in the room when we arrived. The decor has some lovely touches, but the place feels more like a regular travellers' B&B than a boutique stay. It seems like it might have been great in its heyday, though some of the details are missing. Our bed was very small, and anyone 6ft or taller might find it unsuitable. One room has a communal bathroom across the hallway. There was no parking on site. The dining room was dirty, with cat hair on the table mat and the previous day's breakfast still there. Nice location, but those positives run out pretty quickly.
