Dodford Grange

Frankie’s calm manner saved the wedding morning when we were in danger of falling behind. She helped get everything back on track after a wonderful evening at Dodford Grange, where she and Lee hosted a BBQ for 36 close friends and family before my son’s wedding at Dodford Manor. We stayed out well after sunset, eating, drinking and laughing under the lovely parasol Frankie had bought, with the weather adding to it all. The whole house is beautifully decorated, and the bar and snooker table area was superb. We honestly can’t recommend this magnificent place enough if you want something extra special around a wedding. You won’t regret booking it.

The beds were so comfortable, and after a blissful night’s sleep Frankie and Lee welcomed our vendors in for the wedding morning and helped them set up. They made a lovely continental breakfast, and we enjoyed getting ready with music playing. Our first visit had already felt so welcoming, and the weekend of our wedding was just as lovely. The BBQ Frankie and Lee put on the night before was delicious, and with the bar and beautiful outdoor space everyone could enjoy the evening and look forward to the day ahead. We had to rearrange who was staying after the wedding, bringing in more family while the bridesmaids went to stay with their partners. The rooms were turned around and fresh bedding put on. Everything was beautifully furnished, and nothing was too much trouble. Frankie had heard from previous brides that the lighting and photo spots were lovely, so I took her advice and got into my dress at Dodford Grange instead of waiting until we arrived at Dodford Manor. I’m so glad I did, the photos came out beautifully. Thank you for everything, Frankie and Lee. I hope we get to stay again one day. The new Mr & Mrs Goodey x

Frankie and Lee even drove us to the venue, helped with my dress when we struggled with it, steamed dresses and filled my water bottle. The wedding morning was relaxed, with a lovely breakfast, and they did so much to keep things running smoothly. We also had a delicious breakfast with family the next morning, and Frankie and Lee chatted about the wedding as if we’d known them for years. The night before, everyone enjoyed the BBQ, the garden and, when it got chilly, the bar and snooker table. After all that rain I was even allowed to bury a sausage in the garden, and then the wedding day itself had perfect weather. Staying at Dodford Grange made the wedding feel like a three-day celebration rather than just one. The accommodation was stunning, spotless, and had everything we could need. Frankie and Lee made us feel at home from arrival to departure, and nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have chosen better for our wedding weekend. Thank you both so much!

Dodford Grange was a wonderful backdrop for our photos, and we’re so thankful to Frankie and Lee. They remembered all our guests’ names, as well as our wedding suppliers’ names, which gave the place a real home-away-from-home feel. The food was fab, drinks were perfect, the rooms were brilliant and the service exceptional. We stayed for our wedding on the weekend of the 26th October, and Frankie and Lee went above and beyond to help us. They made the whole weekend a success, and I’d highly recommend staying here.
