We spent the weekend unwinding, and the apartment felt so homely. It was spotless, with lovely views from the balcony, and the hot tub was a brilliant extra. I loved watching the ducks, swans and other birds, along with the boats and planes passing by while having a glass of Prosecco. The Packet Inn next door serves beautiful home-cooked food, and has a conservatory and beer garden overlooking the river. Nicola was fab at answering my questions and keeping in touch, especially when we had to change the dates because of covid. It was lovely to finally meet her. Thank you, Nicola, we loved every minute!

The couple who own the place are lovely, and there were lots of thoughtful little touches. They left us the essentials for a cooked breakfast, as well as tea and coffee. We stayed in March for my partner's birthday, and it was one of the most peaceful places we've ever visited. They only let out one apartment, and the balcony jacuzzi tub looks out over the river. It's so private that literally no one can see you.

RAF Conningsby is nearby, home to the Battle of Britain Memorial flight and Typhoon jets. The jets might interrupt the quiet, or add a bit of excitement, depending on your point of view. The place itself is cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Sitting in the Jacuzzi as the sun went down over the river was idyllic. A real find, and one I'll definitely try to return to.

The veranda has a roof, so the brilliant hot tub can be used whatever the weather. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. With views over the river, it's just the spot for some peace and relaxation.

It's a lovely little apartment in a converted Mill, with nice styling throughout and views over the river. A great place to sit back, relax and unwind. You can walk or bike ride into conningsby, and Lincoln, Boston and Skegness are all within a reasonably short drive.
