The Beverley Inn

We popped in for steak last night and had such a lovely meal. Everything was homemade, cooked perfectly, and tasted beautiful. Top-notch grub!

The bar staff, including the man serving us, were really polite. The beer garden seemed fine and the toilets were clean, but the place smelled when we came in and badly needs a makeover. The decor's a shame.

The staff were really friendly. The room was clean and tidy, though it felt a bit dated.

I’d rate this place 0/5. It was one of the worst places I’ve stayed, and even dogs shouldn’t have to stay there. The building needs a complete overhaul. There were waste pipes exposed in the room, which raised hygiene concerns, and the walls and ceilings had visible marks and cracks. There wasn’t a wardrobe, so clothes were left exposed to dust. The bathroom was unclean, and I found a coin in the toilet right after checking in. Tissues were scattered along the shared walkway, suggesting housekeeping wasn’t being done properly. I also worried about security. The pub downstairs had no access control, so members of the public could potentially enter the residential areas. These conditions seemed unsuitable for a long stay and could cause respiratory or hygiene related health problems. The lack of security also leaves residents at risk of unauthorised access.
