The kids loved it, and the buffet breakfast was fab, with plenty of choice. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff were very helpful. Our spacious, clean family room had a double bed and bunk beds, and the hotel had lovely decor. Each floor has a shared kitchen with vending machines, a microwave and baby bottle warmers. We’ll definitely stay again.

The onsite restaurant is very good and reasonably priced, so there’s no need to go elsewhere for a meal. This hotel is a great fit for families visiting the Wildlife Park, business travellers after something a bit different, or both. The place is clean, nicely decorated for its theme, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with all the appliances you’ll need. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I’ll be back for another stay.

The restaurant was lovely, with a varied menu that wasn’t too expensive. Our annual pass also got us 10% off the bill. The hotel had well stocked kitchen areas and lots of outlets for working or charging phones and cameras. Parking was close enough that carrying bags was easy, and check in went smoothly.

The Wild bistro served great food, and the Wildlife Park onsite was another wonderful experience. I’ve just returned from five days at this lovely hotel. The room was spotless, and the staff were amazing, going above and beyond to make the stay special. They’re a real credit to the company.

The location at Yorkshire wildlife park was excellent, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff were excellent too. The bar was well stocked and the food was okay, though the plates could have been hotter. This was a four night Ava coach holiday at the Hex hotel.
