Ramada Encore by Wyndham Doncaster Airport

The staff were helpful and obliging, but our accessible room didn’t have a comfortable chair to sit in, which is essential for someone with disabilities. The bed was uncomfortable and the duvet barely covered the double bed. There wasn’t a throw on it either. Restaurant food was adequate, though somewhat overpriced.

The breakfast was the best we’ve had in a while, and the staff really went out of their way for us. We had a lovely room with a view over the runway, which was a nice bonus. We stayed for one night for my boyfriend’s birthday and would definitely come back.

The restaurant is very basic, though it has the essentials, much like the rooms. The beds weren’t great either. It’s an average place at best, but for a single night it does what you need. If you have time, I’d head elsewhere for a proper meal or breakfast.

The room was spotless and nice, but eating here was a bad experience. My better half ordered pulled pork that was so dry it seemed to suck the moisture from the air. I had two burgers, and both were badly burnt and inedible. We complained after the first one and they made another that was just as bad, so I gave up rather than complain again. The room itself is fine, but I’d eat somewhere else. Still disappointed.
