Antfield House

We liked it so much that we returned later in our trip for another night. The breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh fruit like strawberries, cereal, delicious hot chocolate, and a hot breakfast that beat the other BandB breakfasts we've had. The hosts were warm, attentive, kind, and easy to like. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and fresh detergent-scented bedding and towels. The place is peaceful, while still being close to Inverness and Loch Ness, and you can see the care in the details.

We were made very welcome by the owners, and parking was fine. Finding the place was a bit of an adventure: our rental car's satnav sent us down an undrivable dirt track, then we followed another track and I worried we'd taken a wrong turn. We hadn't. The en-suite bedroom felt lovely and homely, and breakfast was very good. We would gladly have stayed longer if we could. Highly recommend this B & B, and wishing the owners lots of success!

Breakfast was great, and they even had pancakes! The staff were super friendly, and the place itself was much nicer than I expected after taking the back road, which made it seem like the hotel was in the middle of nowhere. Google Maps GPS points to the wrong spot, but there's a sign there directing you to the actual place. It's really not far from the main road.

The room was great, comfortable and very clean, and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing weekend at Antfield House, especially with that amazing breakfast. We'll stay again if we're back at Loch Ness.
