Les Fleurs Accommodation

I stayed in the hostel. I was meant to arrive at 10pm, but my bus was an hour late. The owner hadn't had any notice and still stayed up for me, and was so friendly and efficient. The place has a really cool atmosphere, and was clean and comfortable, with fast WiFi and a big, clean, homely bathroom and shower. I'd stay for the atmosphere alone, and the great service and amenities are the icing on the cake.

We had to stop on the way because my six-year-old got hungry, so we missed the chance to try the food. Maybe next time. The room was clean and welcoming, and the price was great. The landlord and the staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. The bar had a friendly feel too, though it was quiet, as smaller pubs often are.

I didn't go into the bar, only stayed in the hostel upstairs. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the whole place had fast, free WiFi. I was shown around and welcomed warmly. My bed was very comfortable and had a privacy curtain and its own light, though there wasn't a socket at the bed. There were sockets elsewhere in the room. It was a peaceful stay, and I was really happy with it.

Bring earplugs, since it's right in the middle of Dover. We arrived well after our planned 23:30 time but were still greeted warmly, and they found somewhere for our bikes. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were well organised. I'd have liked to stay longer and would do so next time.
