Strathmore Bed Breakfast

Tina was happy to help with anything and gave us useful tips about the area. The B&B is well placed for Dover, Woolmer and Deal Castles, and there's a very good pub serving evening meals just an easy 15-minute walk away. We had three nights here. The accommodation was spacious and exceptionally clean, with thoughtful extras like biscuits and soft drinks already chilling in the fridge. Breakfast, made with local produce, was excellent.

Kabouter stayed Tuesday night and was welcomed back just like last year. The landlady and landlord are so nice, and the place feels like home, close to familiar spots and memories. It's a lovely, spotless retreat, with good space and all the modern comforts. My tea and breakfast were prepared with personal care. I came back on Saturday while travelling home, and staying the night again was no problem. The welcome was just as warm. Sunday breakfast was lovely, and I made good coffee with the machine after my tea. I really didn't want to leave, but Kabouters ferry🛵🛳 was waiting for the crossing home🚙.

I've already booked another stay. Tina is warm and welcoming, and her attention to detail is amazing. She seems to know what you'll need before you do. The food, teas and coffees were top quality, and the bed linen, shower and comfortable furniture were all great. There was also a large TV and loads of thoughtful extras. Such a wonderful experience!

Tina went out of her way to help when I arrived feeling ill. She brought us what we needed and didn't make a fuss. Breakfast was great, and our room was one of the nicest we've stayed in. The shower was fabulous too. We loved everything about the B&B.
