We stayed at number 11, with good views over the hills and Loch Ness. It’s a long way up the hill, so you’ll need a car unless you’re very fit. The place was clean and well kept, with useful basics like salt, pepper, tea and coffee, plus washing-up powder and dishwasher tabs. Each room had an en-suite, and there was plenty of heating on cold mornings and evenings. They’d also left little bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

No.10 was private, clean and extremely comfortable for our four nights. It had everything we needed, and Liz and Zara made us feel very welcome. The views and the accommodation were both absolutely breathtaking. Achmony lodges work brilliantly as a base for exploring, or for a quiet break to rest. We wholeheartedly recommend a visit and are already planning to return.

We’ll definitely be back, and I can’t recommend it enough. The hosts welcomed us warmly, and the three-bedroom bungalow/Lodge was lovely and clean to our standards. It sits by itself on top of a hill, with amazing views through the sliding patio doors.

The weather was amazing, and I loved every minute making memories with our teenagers before they fly the nest. I really didn’t want to leave. Achmony Holidays is a great base for exploring attractions around Inverness and beautiful Loch Ness. The accommodation was first class, like a real home from home, with everything we could need. The beds were lovely and comfy, and there were even DVDs, though we never had time to watch them. The owner, Elizabeth, was so warm and welcoming. Thank you, Achmony Holidays, for an amazing holiday.
