Boxy's Croft

We loved how peaceful it was to look out over the loch, and the village was close enough for meals, takeaways or a bit of shopping. The main road wasn’t far either. We spent three fun nights at Broxy's Croft, a cosy place with all the amenities we needed for a holiday. Kath was a superhost and gave us loads of useful information about the places we wanted to see. She was happy to help with our many requests, even before we arrived, and always with a smile. Meeting her and her lovely dog Skye at check-in made us feel welcome straight away. It was a pleasure to meet them both.

We’d happily go back. The views across loch ness and the surrounding countryside are stunning, and the hosts were excellent. It’s also well placed for visiting nearby attractions, including Urquhart Castle.

We had a fantastic time at Boxys Croft. The cottage has a cosy, authentic feel, and the bedrooms are spacious. The view is amazing, too. Kath and Alun are a very friendly family and gave us great tips for outings nearby and further afield. Highly recommend!

A lovely family-run place with breathtaking views. It’s tucked far enough off the beaten path to feel quiet and peaceful, while still being very close to the local attractions you’ll want to see. We had an amazing experience.
