The breakfast was the highlight. We’d mentioned before check-in that we don’t eat pork, and the hosts were very kind about accommodating us. Robert and Isabelle were such lovely hosts. Our room was cosy and spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The place was amazing, and we’ll definitely be back on a future trip. 1000% recommended!
We honestly didn’t want to leave, and we’d come back without hesitation. Robert and Isabelle were warm and welcoming, made us feel at home, and gave us fantastic tips on places to visit, things to do and where to eat nearby. The room was cosy, spotless and newly renovated, with incredible attention to detail there and throughout the shared areas. Breakfast was exceptional and beautifully prepared. Highly recommended!
We loved our very short stay with Isabelle and Robert, and their Golden Retriever Finn, though we could have used more Finn time! The rooms were beautiful and spacious, with ensuite bathrooms, and the open closet space and hangers made it easy to set out our things for the next day’s hike. The beds were very comfortable, and the showers were satisfying, with controls placed conveniently away from the shower head. Robert and Isabelle were helpful and communicative, gave us restaurant recommendations and even drove us to dinner. Thank you.
The advice before we arrived was so clear and useful, with helpful pointers about the house and what to see nearby. Isabelle and Robert even helped us find some local Heiland Coo's (Highland Cows). We spent two nights here during a three-week driving trip around Scotland, along with their dog, Finn. The apartments were spacious, comfortable, beautifully furnished, and kept in meticulous shape. Isabelle and Robert were warm and friendly without hovering, and their local tips were excellent. This was easily our favorite place of the whole trip. We wished we'd stayed longer. I've not found anywhere better in Scotland.
Robert’s Full Breakfast is a marvel, and you can really feel his generations of B&B experience throughout the stay. We were welcomed so warmly by Isabelle and Robert, who paid attention to all the little details. The modern, luxurious rooms had everything we needed, including bath robes, and you can just ask if you need anything extra. Book direct, settle in, and use the Woodlands as a base for exploring Loch Ness. Six stars!
