The house looked attractive from outside, with six bedrooms, in an area of large, beautiful homes. Inside was a mess, with stuff everywhere, and the back garden looked as if someone had emptied a house into it. Breakfast came on a tray in the bedroom rather than in a dining room.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. The place was covered in dust, which I found disgusting, and neither the main entrance nor the door had a lock, so anyone could walk in. The breakfast room wasn't welcoming either. It's a shame, because the place could be lovely.

The continental breakfast was excellent, and Ian gave us lots of useful local information, including where to go for lunch and dinner. Our room was very comfortable, and we'll definitely stay again.

Ian looked after us so well throughout our four-night stay. The room was clean and nicely presented, and I can't think of anything to fault.

A nice, clean and tidy room with plenty of towels and all the toiletries we needed. The host was lovely, and the continental breakfast was excellent. Good value for touring travellers.
