Trevor and his Mam were great hosts, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, with continental food to help yourself to and cooked options made as you liked. We stopped overnight while travelling south on the A9, and it was a peaceful place to stay. The directions explaining the entrance gate were really useful, and those grand gates feel quite regal! Nearby, there’s a delightful Beatrix potter community garden and an easy riverside walk, no hiking gear needed. It was just right for stretching our legs during the drive from north to south Scotland.

Trevor gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. The room was clean and spacious, and there’s a lovely nature walk nearby, about a 10-minute walk from the city centre. Breakfast was delicious and complete, with the same homely feel.

Trevor, the owner, was a fantastic host and did everything he could to make us feel at home. The Scottish breakfast was wonderfully tasty, with a full choice of fresh, delicious fruit too. We warmly recommend the place!

I stayed here recently with a colleague on a nearby business trip. The room was immaculate, the beds incredibly comfy, and the bathroom and shower spotless, with amazing water pressure. The owners were the friendliest I’ve ever stayed with, and breakfast was a 10/10. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

The bed was exceptional, and I got 10 hours of great sleep in a cosy, quiet room. Our host was attentive and so friendly. Breakfast was tasty and nicely presented. Such a wonderful stay.
