The Taybank

We stayed in the garden apartment, which was beautiful and just right for getting ready that morning. The food was lovely, service on the day was excellent, and everything was timed perfectly. Shannon was especially attentive and friendly with our guests. The team had printed everything and followed our requests, including playing our playlist, setting out the favours, and taking care of the cake. They were organised and ready when we arrived, and the reception itself went beautifully. We’re grateful to everyone involved for making it such a lovely wedding experience. Planning beforehand was more stressful than it needed to be. Replies could be slow, and we sometimes had to chase for updates, which left us less reassured than we’d hoped about such an important day. Still, when the day came, the team really delivered.

The staff were warm and friendly without any fuss, and we’ll definitely return. Our bedroom was tastefully put together, with freshly ground coffee for the cafetière in the room, a lovely little luxury. The hotel is beautifully decorated, close to the river, and has an excellent restaurant. One of the loveliest hotels we’ve stayed in.

We spent three nights at the Taybank hotel and found the room comfortable, a restful place to come back to. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location was great. The food was amazing and creative. I’d have liked a slice of sourdough with butter alongside the croissant in the breakfast hamper.

The Halibut was divine, and the wine suggestions were spot on. We had a fantastic meal at the Taybank during a recent trip to Dunkeld, with very helpful staff. It’s a lovely, cosy, romantic spot beside the pretty river Tay. If fine food is your thing, you’ll love it.
