The cottage was nice, but the cleaning really wasn't: there were cobwebs, dust, grease on the oven, and the windows were so dirty you couldn't see out. We didn't use the oven because we were worried about getting ill. I knew it was a working farm, but I think housekeeping should take that into account when cleaning. The booking pictures made the cottages look lovely. We arrived a little after the 14.00 check-in time and were told housekeeping was still in. That was no problem, so we went to a local shop for essentials to give her more time. When we returned, the owner greeted us and asked for extra payment for our two little dogs. That was the last we saw of her.

A huge, beautiful farmhouse that sleeps 10. So peaceful, with pheasants in the garden and brilliant scenery. We'll be back.

We stayed for two nights in this lovely little cottage with beautiful views. It was clean and had everything we needed for self-catering, and the host was really friendly. We'd stay again xxx

We had another lovely stay this year and hope to come back later on. The cottage suited our needs, with plenty of room, and Hen House and Bull Pen were clean and tidy with comfortable beds. We cooked evening meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed. The owner was very friendly, and the service was excellent. It's a great base for visiting local attractions.

A really cute little cottage with lovely views, and the owner is lovely too. We'll definitely be back.
