The breakfast was freshly cooked and made with good quality produce, and our room was clean and comfortable during our one-night stay. The young man checking people into the restaurant was especially helpful and clearly enjoyed his work. I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name, but he’s a real asset to the hotel and deserves praise for his excellent service. I’d happily stay here again when I’m back in Durham.

On my second stay, the receptionist was great and quickly brought me a replacement duvet. The one on the bed had a large blood stain on top, so I spotted it right away and was glad I hadn’t slept under it. I can’t understand why housekeeping put it on the bed or how they missed such an obvious mark. The bathroom also needed a more thorough clean, especially the thick dust around the vent above the mirror. The staff are lovely and the food is good, but the room wasn’t clean enough this time.

Ella looked after me so well, and her customer service was excellent. Everyone I met was friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make the stay better. My room was modern, clean and comfortable, with no complaints. The location is handy too, with local amenities close by and easy to reach. I really enjoyed staying at Premier Inn Durham and would book again on another visit to Durham.

Colleen was so friendly and happy to help with anything, she really went above and beyond. We were eight people, and the staff pushed tables together so we could all have breakfast in one group. Breakfast was great, and the rooms were lovely, although the bed was a little high. Check-in was easy, even though my room was about 15 minutes late. We had a great night here and would recommend it and stay again. The car park is right next door, and the hotel discount brings 24-hour parking to £8.

Chris deserves a big shoutout, he’s a legend, cheerful and so soft-spoken. This was a really happy place for my family, and I’m proud I picked it for our trip. Hotels can be hit or miss as part of travelling, but this one was one of my best experiences. Definitely recommend it. 😅 ❤️ 💯
