We drove over an hour yesterday to use the spa, only to find a paper notice in reception saying the jacuzzi wasn't working. Staff told us they don't notify guests ahead of time when spa facilities are affected, and said to call next time. We found that astonishing. In an email, the hotel described access to the pool, sauna, steam room, gym and jacuzzi as a complimentary addition to a bedroom booking. For us, spa facilities are a fundamental part of a spa hotel. We were thoroughly disappointed and wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone whose main reason is to use the spa.

The food was some of the most delicious I've ever had at a hotel, and the rooms were clean with good facilities. We stayed Saturday 31st January and had a lovely time. Huge thanks to all the staff, especially Emma and Mark, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

The hotel is amazing, but the staff made the stay so much better. Everyone I met greeted me with a friendly smile. Anna, in particular, made it unforgettable with her kindness and generosity. She answered all my questions and did everything she could to help me feel comfortable and welcome. Because of her, I'll be back in March for my partner's birthday.

We were in the area for a wedding and spent one night at the Elite Venue Selection. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious, and the staff were professional and very nice. We paid extra for breakfast, which had a decent selection of hot and cold dishes. We didn't use the spa, though we saw plenty of guests there. Very well priced, and I'd recommend it.

I ended up staying for the whole of January, and the staff are what made it feel like home. They made me feel welcome, and I really enjoyed my time there. The rooms were comfortable, and having the spa was a great bonus. Thanks to everyone. I'll definitely return if I'm in the area again.
