The room was comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. I had a freshly cooked vegetarian breakfast and enjoyed it. They also had hot drinks, juice and croissants. The pub wasn’t too busy on Thursday night, and there’s food at the pub as well as rooms. It’s well placed for Fakenham, Sandringham and King's Lynn.
The pub has a lovely cosy feel, and it was great to see it packed on a Monday night. It’s dog friendly too. This was our fourth time stopping en route, and the second time we stayed overnight and ate there. Every visit has been lovely. Our room was spacious, with a super-comfy bed, a large bathroom and lots of nice extras. Both dinner and breakfast were piping hot and beautifully presented, and everyone we met on staff was so friendly.
Dad said the cheesecake was the best he’d ever had. We had a delicious dinner at The Crown, and they were very accommodating with my elderly Dad. The service was excellent. I’d thoroughly recommend it.
The atmosphere was fantastic, the service excellent and the food exceptional. This pub really has everything going for it. Highly recommend.
We went every day during our four-day break in Norfolk, and will definitely be back. The staff were fantastic, and the comfortable decor made it a nice place to spend time. There’s a small courtyard at the front for a drink and a similar-sized one at the back, and dogs are welcome. The meal choices were excellent and all great value, with a great range of wines and beers too.
