We were delighted with our first two-night stay at Bassetts B&B, just my daughter and me, and hope to come back. Breakfast had a lovely range of delicious choices, served in the beautifully decorated dining room overlooking the sea. Our room was spotless and lovely, with quality fittings, furniture, bedding and soft furnishings that felt carefully chosen. Catherine and Howard were thoughtful and so helpful as hosts. Everything was perfect.

We’ll definitely return. Catherine and Howard were an absolute delight as hosts, and the rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was fabulous. I’d happily recommend staying here.

We’ll certainly book again when we’re next in Eastbourne. Catherine and Howard were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast had a good range of food, served in a bright, airy dining room. The bedroom was clean and cosy, with a comfortable bed. The large modern bathroom had tiled walls and huge fluffy towels. Definitely recommended.

Breakfast was cooked just right, and the accommodation felt homely and was spotless. Howard and Catherine made us feel genuinely welcome and were very accommodating, doing their best to make our Eastbourne stay enjoyable. We hope to come back to this excellent B&B next time we're there. Thank you.

I always go for the family room, with its amazing sea view. It’s clean and really comfortable every time. Catherine and Howard make you feel at home, and breakfast is great too, piping hot and never a letdown.
